What is La Collana by Studio Gløra?
La Collana is a collection of colourful, handcrafted necklaces designed in Frankfurt and inspired by travels, memories and Mediterranean light.
Each piece tells its own little story, from seaside treasures and sun-faded colours to places we've fallen in love with along the way. Created in small batches, they're designed to be worn, collected and layered over time.
Is every necklace handmade?
Yes.
Every necklace is carefully handcrafted in our Frankfurt studio. From selecting and arranging the beads to assembling each finished piece, every necklace is made by hand.
Because of this, no two necklaces are ever completely identical. Slight variations in bead arrangement, colour or shape are part of what makes each piece unique.
What materials do you use?
We love mixing materials to create playful, colourful pieces. Depending on the design, you'll find combinations of glass, ceramic, acrylic, coloured jade beads and other decorative elements, paired with durable stainless steel findings and selected gold-plated components.

Are your collections limited?
Many of them are.
We love discovering beautiful beads and charms while travelling, and some of our favourite finds are only available once. When a material can't be sourced again, that design may never return in exactly the same form.
That's part of the charm of La Collana. Every collection captures a particular place, season or memory.
How long does shipping take?
If your piece is in stock, we usually dispatch orders within 2–3 business days. Delivery within Germany generally takes a further 1–3 business days.
If a piece is temporarily unavailable, the estimated availability or extended delivery time will be displayed on the product page.
Once your order has been shipped, you'll receive a tracking link via email.

Do you ship internationally?
At the moment, we only ship within Germany.
We're hoping to expand to more destinations in the future. If you're based outside Germany and have your heart set on a piece, feel free to get in touch. We'll always do our best to help.
Can I return my order?
Of course.
If you've changed your mind, you can return your order within the statutory return period, provided the jewellery is unworn and returned in its original condition.

How should I care for my jewellery?
Our necklaces are made to be worn and loved, but they'll last even longer with a little extra care.
We recommend removing your jewellery before swimming, showering or exercising, and avoiding direct contact with perfume, lotions and other cosmetics. When you're not wearing it, store it somewhere dry and away from direct sunlight.
Does my jewellery come gift wrapped?
Every order is carefully packaged and ready to gift, whether it's for someone special or simply for yourself.
Why “La Collana”?
La collana simply means “the necklace” in Italian.
The name is a little love letter to the places that inspire so many of our designs: colourful markets, seaside villages, long summer evenings and the memories collected along the way.
Just like the necklaces themselves, it's a reminder that sometimes the smallest souvenirs end up carrying the biggest stories.
