Jewellery collected through memories, journeys and places that stay with you.
For as long as I can remember, I've never returned from a trip without a new piece of jewellery. Whether it's a handcrafted pearl ring from Valencia, a colourful beaded necklace from New York, friendship bracelets from Ibiza or a statement piece discovered in a small boutique in Andalusia, I always seem to come home with something.
If you ask my partner, she'll probably tell you that every holiday includes at least one unexpected detour because I've spotted “the cutest little jewellery boutique.” More often than not, I leave with a tiny treasure and a memory that lasts far longer than the trip itself.
For me, jewellery has never just been an accessory. It becomes a reminder of a place, a feeling, a moment in time. Years later, I can look at a piece of jewellery and instantly remember the place, the conversations, the people I met, or the little boutique where I found it.
Travelling is at the heart of my creative process. I find inspiration everywhere: watching what and how locals wear and layer their jewellery, wandering through bead shops, artisan markets, concept stores and hidden boutiques, and collecting ideas that eventually find their way into my designs. My suitcase almost always comes home a little heavier than it left.

Back in my Frankfurt studio, those memories slowly take shape. Every necklace is designed and handcrafted in small quantities, blending carefully sourced materials with the colours, places and moments that inspired them. Some collections naturally become limited editions because a particular material or discovery can never quite be recreated.
Jewellery has always been deeply personal to me. For as long as I can remember, I've worn my nonna's necklaces every single day. I still love layering family heirlooms from both of my grandmothers with holiday treasures and, now, my own designs. That mix of memory, travel and everyday wear is at the heart of Studio Gløra.
I hope these pieces become more than just jewellery: little reminders of adventures, long summer evenings and places you love, or perhaps inspiration to discover somewhere new.
